Sorry the tree came down so early. Despite being watered twice a day, the tree became tinder dry with needles falling out in clumps. Rather than burn down the house, the tree came down early. There is always next year. Happy New Year to everyone!!

It looks like the tree won’t go up until the weekend of the 17th. That’s pretty late but we’re waiting for our son to come home from college so he can help pick out the tree and decorate. It’s a family thing.

I just can’t wait any longer. Some Halloween lights are up in the living room and I’ve changed  the theme. It must be time to go out and buy some candy.

The tree is up and illuminated. We are putting the ornaments on this evening (Sunday) so it will soon be more than green but also enhanced with ornaments that are new and old.  Merry Christmas everyone!

To enjoy the season, I added some Halloween lights in the livingroom that are connected to the dining room accent lights and, for another year, the neon bat is in the kitchen with its own control. Happy Halloween.

Halloween is behind us for another year. With the kids off at college, we handed out treats without the high energy children in the house creates. The cam also had a short hiccup which caused the pictures to time out. Fixed now. Time to enjoy the lull between Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations.

The family will be over today to decorate the tree. It looks a lot better with lights on it. Speaking of lights, the Christmas Tree Angel and the garland lights can now be turned on and off. The tree is not going up today. Family can’t come over to decorate the tree so the plan is now to put up the tree sometime this week and then have a big gathering next Saturday to decorate it. Stop on by and turn the angel on and off.

Looks like Sunday will be the day for putting up the Christmas tree and doing the Christmas cards. It’s almost here.
