This evening (Saturday) will be a family game night. That will be the last gathering for the tree which will come down on Sunday. Then it’s back to normal.

As you have probably noticed, today is clean the house and cook day.  People should start arriving around 3pm PST and we’ll be sitting down to dinner at sunset (around 4:30pm). Everyone else will show up at 6pm.

Christmas is closing in on us. Christmas Eve day will be a lot of cooking. The turkey is in the Weber, potatoes are peeled, tables are set… time to take a shower and wait for the family. Happy Thanksgiving.

Since my mom has finally moved out of her old, gigantic house, the family Thanksgiving falls to one of the boys. This year, we’ll have all the family over to eat turkey and all the usual gastronomic pleasures of the holiday. Please stop by Thanksgiving day.
