I have the cameras working again but the Audiotrons aren’t available. But, no fear, you can still make the lights change. We will wave.

I moved servers around the network and broke the cameras. It will take me a few days to get the cameras updating again. Check back next week.

I moved the livingroom cam. It now looks though the living room and into the dining room. The real reason for moving was that it used to sit on top of a picture frame thing and the cats kept walking under it, catching the cables with their tails and knocking the camera to the floor. [...]

We survived the Great Northwest Windstorm but we had enough power hits to make us turn off all the computers. But no trees fell on the house so we’re doing pretty well.

The storm that blew through the Willamette Valley last night took out our power for 5 or 6 hours last night. But we’re back.

The comment column on this page has finally been updated and the RSS feed should be working. A new WordPress installation is supporting it all and the comments should now be working. I guess no one noticed since there weren’t any emails, but now there can be comments.

Quest has been out here twice to fix the DSL. It seems to be better today so maybe, just maybe, the LivingroomCam will be up for a while. I have comments working again — they were very broken. I will continue to work on the layout of this page and I might even figure out [...]

I occured to me that the LivingRoomCam page hasn’t had a makeover since it was designed for computers with 256 color pallets and 1200 baud modems. Expect the colors and layout to change over the next few days.

The upgrade to newer OS is complete. The only casualty seems to be the light control. That will take a day or two to get working again. Then some more upgrading. Spring cleaning can take a while.
