|ChristmasCam (usually LivingroomCam)
A camera in our living room and kitchen, a capture board, a DSL connection, a little software and what do you get? A family's home on the Web! Welcome to our living room. We are usually around in the evening (Pacific Standard Time). Send us email and enjoy relaxing at our house.
I've started leaving a light on at night so the people on the other side of the planet have something to look at besides black. I also collect one image an hour for the last 24 hours .
Our living room has been Christmas Cam for a bunch of years. You can check out:
If you don't believe in Santa Claus, in 1995 we caught Santa Claus putting presents around the tree and drinking the milk left out for him (RealMedia video). We didn't ever catch him again -- we think you can only fool the Santa guy once.

Pretty good Christmas, I must say. Good people, good food, good presents, and good birthday celebration. And now... Happy New Year!!

There will be a lot of cooking going on the next few days as we get ready for Wigilia (a traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner). We'll have quite a crowd over for Christmas eve and a good number of people to open presents Christmas morning. I'm going to have a chat room open Christmas morning so you can come and visit. Merry Christmas!!

The sad story is: another day and another day without the tree. Home late from work, we finally set out to get the tree. We drove off into the country to where we usually get one and, gasp!, they are not there. Darkness, rain, but no trees. Back to the city to find that the local tree places had closed already. Well, I was determined to decorate something. So, for today, the double bass will have to do for our tree. We'll try again tonight.

It didn't happen today. Too much homework and other commitments. It will HAVE to be tomorrow night. Sigh. But the family pictures of what did delay Christmas are on the Family Picture Page as the Thanksgiving in Disneyland and Trip to Boston .

Well, what kind of Christmas site it this? Still no tree? Saddly yes. No tree, yet. It's been a busy month and we haven't yet had a day when everyone one in the family has been home. This Tuesday evening (the 17th) we will finally get our tree.

It's coming! Christmas is just around the corner! I'm putting up Christmas decorations this weekend but we will probably wait until December 14th to put up the tree because members of the family will be in and out for the next few weeks. If I can get it set up, I hope to have a camera looking out of the tree to give a "Christmas Tree" view of Christmas.

Halloween is behind us and we're getting ready for Thanksgiving. I wish we could get some winter weather here -- it's just cold but not rain. I mean, it's the first of November and the leaves are still on the trees.

Do you like our Halloween tree on the livingroom coffee table? Trick-or-treat safely.

Added a 'friends link' section. While maybe not personal friends, they are people I've run across on the web.
NOTE TO THE CRIMINALLY INCLINED:our house has an alarm (door and window sensors and motion detectors) and we live in a small town whose cops actually show up in five minutes. So, save us both a lot of trouble, and don't even bother.
Pointers to some camera technology:
Friends links -- people I've met on the web.
